ALC in Conway, NH, a Region 1 Peer Support Center
Welcome to Conway's ALC North. In July we will enter into our 10th year of operation. We offer a number of educational and support groups here at the center. Goals group (Mondays) Peaceful Solutions (Tuesdays) WRAP (Wellness, Recovery and Action Planning) & Computers (Wednesdays) Men's & Women's group, and Joy of Music (Thursdays). We have guitar time on Fridays. Friday is our social day here at the center. We have potluck dinners, regular dinners and great activities. Our regular monthly activities include: Karaoke, Bingo, Pictionary & Charades. The center is open every single holiday as our philosophy is the holidays can really be hard, and no one needs to feel or be alone unless they choose to. Here is Conway; we are all about being a community. You will frequently see members helping out and doing things around the center. Our center floor staffs are: Jan, Dee, Dianne & Clinton. Of Course we have our Assistant Director Janine and Executive Director Pat. Be sure to come by and visit us, and you'll be greeted with a warm friendly smile. |
